Ansley & Chip

Ansley and Chip became "The Wall's" on October 22nd, 2016 at the gorgeous Cedar Room in the newly refurbished, Cigar Factory. Haley Kelly, with A Charleston Bride, designed and coordinated this gorgeous wedding right after having her first child, a little girl, Harper. Laura was brought in by Kelly to create a painting of Ansley and Chip sharing in their first dance. Laura remembers this being a special moment as the sweet couple danced away to "Is This Love" by Corinne Bailey Rae. The Mighty Kicks, a fabulous band based out of Orangeburg, played the remainder of the night and had everyone on the dance floor!

With all of weddings Laura paints, she takes little aspects away from each event. Whether it be the atmosphere, the guests, or small little details, she always enjoys partaking in the many different gatherings. For this particular wedding, she remembers loving the speech that the Father of the Bride gave to the crowd. He told the attendees that "he knew his daughter had found the one when his Louis Vuitton girl came home in camo." There were many memorable moments at this wedding, including the gorgeous, illusion lace backing of Ansley's dress. Breathtaking!
